Yes we provide everything needed for surfing as part of the lessons, ie. Wetsuits, booties, surfboards even hoods and gloves when required.

We use a range of Alder soft top surfboards from 7” to 9” long.

Unfortunately not, we only use soft top surfboards.

The local council have a by-law in place that forbids the surf schools from renting surf equipment, because of the ever changing sands and rip currents the beach id deemed unsafe for swimming, this means there are no lifeguards on duty and that is the reason we cannot rent.

Lessons last for a total duration of 2.5 hours.

Definitely not, all our wet-suits are 5mm tick and are designed to keep you warm in water as low as 8 degrees Celsius.

Yes but at the moment due to Covid-19 restrictions we have made the decision to keep the changing rooms closed until further notice.

All of your belongings will be kept locked and secure in the surf van while you are surfing.

Yes there is a beachfront car park at Strandhill with plenty of spaces for beach-goers and surfers although in the summer months the car park can get busy and parking can become limited.

Lessons cost €40 per adult and €30 per child under sixteen, special group rates apply for groups of 15 + surfers.
